Column’ is a feature printed regularly in a news paper or a magazine. It is usually printed under the same heading, at a specific place in the newspaper or magazine. It bears the author’s name as by line.
A columnist’ is usually an authority in his line .
Columnists enjoy absolute freedom to express their views on people and issues.
